I have a headache, so
today has been 'one of those days' where:
- the children are the personification of fingernails on a chalkboard
- the 8 year old suddenly seems older and I have NO IDEA how to 'manage' him
- I am so tired I could fall asleep sitting up. And did. Feeding Jasper.
- everything is an effort
- I've been cranky and testy and short-tempered all day
- the monotony of routine, which normally keeps us all sane, is driving me insane
When it was meant to be a day of just chilling out with the boys.
Disappointing really.
I did make hot cross buns though.

At this point, I'm having those days a lot (even with just one child) so I feel for you.
Hot cross buns sound delicious though! Out of each day something good must come...even if it's just hot cross buns! Hope Sunday is better.

I feel your mundane pain. Some days on my 5th (or is it 7th) trip of the day to the same ol' Tuesday (or is it Wednesday?) thing, I want to scream. Then add the fatigue and you've got yourself a situation. I fell asleep bottle feeding Youngest one time - and the child drained a bottle in under a minute! What woke me up was his frantic signing for 'more' (finger in opposite palm), which literally jiggled me awake. He was almost 9 months old, and I didn't even know he could sign! We were teaching the 18 month old...
Big ((((((HUGS))))) from this mom to a mum who's doing the 3-child tango. Hope you get a nap today!
Oh God, me too. Should be a restful day as H is home on vacation and instead EVERY.LITTLE.THING is pissing me off beyond reason.
Could I be getting a period? After, um, something like two years without??

BB - I too spent much of today thinking - maybe I'm getting my period back. Because if this is who I am - yikes!
I had one of those days yesterday too with all three home, cranky, bickering, staring at the rain outside.
And yes, we made hot cross buns too. I just ate three of them in a row.
And I'm still in pjamas and it's 11.30am. And I have a pain in my left armpit.
