the baby is bunny hopping.
Sure, a series of lurches, rolls and other manoeuvres means the New Recruit has been fairly mobile around the floor for the better part of the last month, but just now, as in j.u.s.t. NOW, he saw a rattle he'd t.h.r.o.w.n. across the room and decided he wanted it back.
So he just bunny-hopped his way over there.
I am proud in that, "he's only four and a half months old" way, but also FREAKING OUT in that "he's only four and a half months old" holy crap way.

Haha! Nothing freaks you out like the first time your baby moves. You go back to where you last left them and they aren't there! Yikes. Oh, whew .. there they are, under the sofa ;)
