Feeling middle-aged because.... (Yes, Bec's Back)

I think you know you're seriously middle aged when on gaining a clear view of a well-built 20 year old male's backside clad in trendily drooped cargo pants with trendily raised Calvin Klein boxers sticking up above the waistband your one and only desire is to reach over and hitch up his pants to cover his undies. (Also to scathingly say " That look is SO '90s" but stopping for fear that he was still in primary school then...) mtc Bec

Oh my gosh! I CONSTANTLY feel that way. I still can't figure out how that trend defies gravity. I keep waiting for them to "drop trou" at any moment.

I am definitely middle-aged (45) for this and so many other reasons.

Michele sent me. Greetings from chilly Wisconsin....

Bec, I will get the recipe for the cookies and send it to you later today. Thanks for reminding me!

Magic Cookie Bars (also known as 7 layer cookies)
1/2 cup butter
14 oz. EagleBrand milk
3 1/2 oz. flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups Graham Cracker crumbs
6 oz chocolate morsels
6 oz butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 350*. In a 13x9 baking pan, melt the butter. Sprinkle crumbs over butter, pour Eagle Brand milk over the crumbs evenly. Top with remaining ingrediants; press down gently with a spatula.
Bake 25-30 minutes until lightly browned. Cool before cutting. Store at room temperature.

My son used to take these to school and sell them for $1 each (unknown to me at the time!)

No Bec, middle-age is when you see a nice arse and simply think, nice arse, with no inclination, let alone energy to take the thought any further.

OH - and THANK GOD you're back. Apart from being really lonely I could feel the pure vitriol bubbling back to the surface.

My simmering rage was about to become apparent to the world in all its petty ugliness. The gym post is a case in point. And that's the tip of the iceberg...

Sometimes having a husband who thinks this is an indulgence is quite beneficial.
